Music Section of our Site
In the music section of our Site, individuals or corporations have the option to join one of several mailing lists to receive weekly mailings with charts. Addresses on those lists will only be used for chart related mail and every message sent includes instructions for how to unsubscribe from the relevant list.
The music section of the Site also has a "Submit a Change" link on some pages to accept corrections from Site users. All information submitted there is used only in the context of updating an album's data. If an email address is included for contact purposes, Gracenote will not use it for sending email not related to the change nor will Gracenote share it with others.
Developers Section of our Web site
In the developer's section of our Site, individuals can voluntarily fill out a form in order to sign up to receive information about software development kits (SDKs) for inclusion in software they develop to use MusicID™. This form includes personal information such as name, email address and company. This information is only used for contacting developers and potential developers about their use of our service in their software and will not be shared with any outside parties without obtaining the developer's prior consent.
Employment Section of our Site
In order to make recruitment decisions, Gracenote, Inc. collects, processes, uses, and disseminates personal information that has been provided through this Site (such as name, address, e-mail address, and information contained in a resume or job profile). By submitting this information, the applicant agrees that it will be governed by our Site's Privacy Policy and will be subject to our Terms of Use. On the basis of the information provided, Gracenote may contact the applicant regarding future employment opportunities.
